If this isn't the least-precise recipe you've ever seen, it probably wins the title among things I've posted here. The reason is I've finally really accepted that there is no single perfect chili recipe. But I'm telling you, this stuff is super-easy to make, cheaper than canned food, better for him, and ... it's pretty tasty. The first time I made it the girls asked if they could try it. One thing I haven't mentioned about how Grandma would have cooked is that frequently it wasn't a one-person job.
