I'm a big fan of comfort food: meat loaf and mashed potatoes, chicken soup, chocolate-chip cookies. And of course, mac and cheese. Like most of you, I grew up on the neon orange stuff that comes in the blue box. And in my house that was made with margarine, because we had all been told it was better for us. I tend to suffer from kid-in-the-candy-store syndrome when it's time to plan a menu. When I'm just sitting there thinking about what I'd like to have, I don't even know where to start.
