When my wife was in the hospital after having our first daughter, her roommate was an immigrant from somewhere in Eastern Europe. The hospital staff was freaking out that she hadn't been seeing a doctor regularly during her pregnancy. She asked them, "Why would I see a doctor? I wasn't sick, I was pregnant." I'm not the kind of person who wants to grab an energy bar and a cup of coffee for breakfast every morning. First, I don't like coffee. I'm not usually a fan of making substitutions in recipes. Most of the substitutions I see are based on misguided ideas about what's healthy.
