How to crush Rice Krispies

Crushing Rice Krispies is easy. Crushing them without having them end up everywhere is a bit harder. Unless you do something like this.

It’s pretty obvious from that first picture, but … Pour the cereal into a zip-top bag.

Squeeze all the air out as you seal it.

Roll the bag with a rolling pin.

Go back-and-forth over the bag until you reach the right level of crushed-ness.

    This also works really well for crushing crackers. My grandmother taught me to do it this way.
