Behind the Scenes on That’s Life with Robin Swoboda

This is the footage my wife shot from behind the scenes when I was on That’s Life with Robin Swoboda. She didn’t get to shoot as much as we had hoped for, because of a couple of problems I mention in the video.

Wait. Hold the phone. Was the intro. music “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder? Really? That’s a little weird.

WHEW! And Hooray for the butter wrangler. Too bad we didn’t see her in the video too.

Kristin, what’s weird about it? Maybe I should go check out the lyrics. Never paid them any attention.

Trixie, she was behind the camera. But I thought she needed to be in the credits. If she hadn’t come through, I have no idea what the pie would have looked like.

Drew, caught the feed on Friday. Sent an email to “That’s Life” to either have you on as a regular, or give you your own show! For a first timer, you did GREAT! My favorite line: Margarine is axel grease! Be still my beating heart, someone who tells it like it is. LOL Sorry to hear about the getting there story, but you pulled it off! Oh, I always wondered about your “grandma”. That was a hoot too!

Beth Ann, glad you liked it. Did you hear what the real grandma next to me said after the axle grease line? “It’s plastic.”

It’s funny how just about everything I said was someone’s favorite line. Like the bit about where I found the picture. I never would have thought that was more than slightly interesting, but they thought it was hilarious.

Oh, and if anyone from Fox 8 is reading this … I didn’t ask anyone to write to you after the show asking for another appearance. I was going to, but not so soon. :-)

Hi! I watched you on the show and thought you did a great job! Sounds like you had an adventure your family is likely to never forget :)

Hi! Love your blog! I actually got here through a link…I was trying to figure out if Robin tapes the shows to air later or is totally live. (I’m one of the Chevy mom bloggers for November and we’re going down to her show for an interview tomorrow).

I remember seeing you when you were on… but this back stage footage is great!!!

It’s live. Good luck, and have fun.
