I have a similar recipe for the pan fried pork loin! I marinate the meat in a lemon pepper and lemon juice for a couple of hours, and I add lemon pepper to the flour. It makes a perfect summer time recipe!

Stephanie, it may not be as long as you think until you're cooking mass quantities again. Our girls (6 & 8) will wipe out a pound of steak between them, then want dessert. Twice.

Well at least there was wine to drink!
The spears looks good. The pork chops & pan sauce sounded wonderful. When I married my hubby his 2 teenage sons lived with us, so I had to quickly learn cooking mass quantities of food. After they moved out and it was just the 2 of us for a while, I had to relearn small cooking amounts. Now we have 2 boys of our own, but I've got about 10 years before I have to cook for 2 teenage boys again. (and their friends and big brothers!)

Jenni, it doesn't feel like snapping at the time, does it? It's just talking fast ... and kind of loud ... and kind of bossy ...

Bunny, I would never pull my hair out. I need every strand I've still got.

Meghan, the restaurant I worked at in college would do several hundred meals per night on the weekends. Mostly sandwiches, but also salads, appetizers, soups, and a few pasta dishes. With one guy in the kitchen. After that, doing 50 of the same dish in a whole day didn't seem that hard.

I feel your pain, brother! Looks like it all came together nicely. I completely understand about not having pix for the whole meal. Once you're in that zone, "Oh, I must take a photograph!" doesn't even cross your mind!

And maybe, one time, I've snapped at my Beloved in a similar situation. But just once. ;)
