And The Winner Is …

Okay, the “winners are …” But that doesn’t sound as catchy. Anyway, I know you’ve all been dying to know who’s going to get lucky this Valentine’s Day.

But first let me say again how grateful I am to you readers. From your comments on the contest post, it seems like many of you are in love with onions. Onion soup. Onion rings. What is it about onions, anyway?

Let me also say how glad I am to see so much enthusiasm for the illustrated cookbook. It’s good to finally be offering a cookbook with something to look at other than words. And for those buying the e-book, the pictures are even in color! (Color printing was just too cost prohibitive. Sorry folks.)

For those of you who didn’t win, I hope you can cope with waiting another 9 days until the cookbook officially becomes available. I personally don’t know how you’re bearing it.

So, now for the new owners of the new illustrated, color, e-book copy of How To Cook Like Your Grandmother.

But first, how I picked the winners. I copied all the names to a spreadsheet, added columns for the extra blog and Stumble entries, and wrote all the numbers down on a sheet of paper.

Then I cut the entries out and put them in a pretty straw hat.

Then Winnie drew the first winner:

Congratulations to CheeseSlave! (I explained that you really, really like cheese. She still thinks the name is weird.)

Ana picked the next winner:

Congratulations to NoMoreFOURMe!

And Winnie again for the third and final winner:

Congratulations Fries Family!

Sorry it took until so late to post the winners. We had a sitter tonight, so no blogging. All the winners please send me your email addresses so I can send your copies of the eBook.

Thanks again to everyone who entered. It’s been really interesting hearing what people like best. And for all those who didn’t win, I’ve got a little something special. Email me to find out what it is.

Yep, gotta try both the onion rings and the soup. Seriously. Oh and the stroganoff.
It was fun even if I didn’t win.
