And it's good...but it is as if you had taken all the textures of a well-made potato salad and then superimposed the flavor of BACON. Wow is that a lot of bacon flavor--and only about 2/3 of the oil in my mayo was bacon fat (I guess mine was lean? I didn't have enough), I subbed olive oil for the rest. Yummy and smoky, but if you don't like bacon you're sunk. Also, I don't like German potato salad so I was a trifle worried about the vinegar, but there's no vinegar-y flavor.
