Here’s a cooking tip. Cut the arms off an old sweatshirt and use them to cover your forearms to avoid accidents when frying. The cuff keeps them from sliding off. Make them at least elbow length.

Maureen: I was just talking to someone on another blog about doing onion rings. I think I’m going to do them this weekend. It’ll give me another chance to try the diping sauce I’m working on. It’s based on a Russain dressing recipe, with horseradish.
